Privacy
Effective October 30, 2026.
SetWrite collects no data about you. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. There is no SetWrite server.
Your writing
Your documents are files in your own iCloud Drive. Apple syncs them between your devices under your iCloud account and Apple's privacy policy. SetWrite's developer cannot see them.
Dictation
Speech is transcribed on your device with Apple's on-device speech recognition. Audio is never recorded to a file or sent anywhere. The first time, the system may download Apple's speech model for your language.
Links you attach
If you attach a web link to a document as a source, SetWrite fetches that page directly from its website to read its title. It sends nothing else, and only when you ask.
Children
SetWrite collects nothing from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this ever changes, this page will be updated first and the date above will change.
